Our Nisga'a Nation. My Nisga'a name is Sim'oogit Adii'Alyaaw. I come from the House of Aw'lawaals. I grew up in Port Edward and was raised by my late uncle, Arthur Leeson. I am married and have two daughters and three grandchildren.
Prior to leaving Port Edward, I was employed in the commercial fishing industry for sixteen years. I resided at the community of Kitkatla from 1974 to 1994 after which I moved to Prince Rupert. I am currently employed with 'Tribal Resources Investment Corporation' in the capacity of Business Analyst.
